Day 69: Cubism

This is a sculpture that is outside my university. I honestly had not noticed its existence until today and I must have walked past it every day for 2 and a half years. That’s how much my 365 project has me looking at the world differently. I processed it with color efex pro and used the “brilliance” setting. Not sure what that did but it made it look brilliant! Ha!

My wife got a job…

IN SHEFFIELD!!!!!!

We are not moving. I am a happy chappy. The wife is happy too although its doing vascular surgery not the breast surgery she wanted.

20 examples of long exposure photography.

Other Inspiration:
I bought a sigma 10-20mm super-wide lens last night on ebay. Hoping it will arrive tomorrow. If you are wondering where this starving student got the money from? I sold my Sony 18-250mm lens on ebay yesterday too…

Project 365 Day 69- CubismGreat colors and shot. I’m the same way with noticing things. A third of my 365 pics have been taken on the walk from my lab to the cafeteria, where I never used to notice anything photogenic.

Project 365 Day 69- CubismLove it! And too true about the project changing how you view the world. I’ve worked on this campus for nearly 15 years and there’s stuff that comes up nearly every day that I’d never noticed before and a whole lot more that I’ve never taken the time to go looking at!

Project 365 Day 69- CubismThanks everyone! I drove past this sculpture again just before and I noticed that it has another side to it…

I may revisit it tomorrow and see if there is another shot in it.
