This is the house I grew up in. I have ben wanting to take this shot for a while and actually did yesterday but it was raining and dull. Then this afternoon the sun came out and I thought I would try again. I was having trouble getting a good shot what with the white paint and the dark shadows so I thought I would try a hand held HDR over 4ev. After my last dabble with Photoshop’s HDRpro feature I wasn’t holding out hope for a good result. This time I am pleasantly surprised. I think I have used the HDR tool well to get a good range of tones in the image. I know there is a lot of horizontal distortion ion the shot but that is the look I was going for as I was a very small boy when we moved here and I wanted to represent that.
